Kibo Restaurant began as a small venture driven by a group of friends from Watamu with a vision to offer an exceptional experience to tourists visiting their area. They noticed that traditional hotel services often fell short of reaching the beaches where tourists were relaxing, swimming, and enjoying themselves. Inspired by the idea of enhancing comfort in this tropical paradise, they created a unique haven for refreshment and entertainment.More than just a top-notch venue, Kibo Restaurant provides a genuine taste of local life in Africa, specifically in Watamu. Here, food is prepared and served with a warm, homely touch while maintaining a professional standard. As a guest, you are welcome to engage with the friendly staff and fellow tourists, creating a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere where everyone—locals and visitors alike—can enjoy and connect.
As we continue to grow, we are dedicated to giving back to the community that supports us. When we have the opportunity, through donations or available resources, we prioritize assisting local schools and orphanages. We provide Christmas gifts for children and offer food and clothing to their families. Although our contributions may be occasional, we are committed to spreading joy and reflecting the generosity of our clients.
